Why do Conservative Christian communities seem to produce the most hate groups?

When you hear about all the really bad incidents that followed Obama's election, just about all took place in conservative communities and states that pride themselves on how Christian they are. And when you look up the location of hate groups they also seem to thrive in these type of places like Idaho and Texas. These folk claim to go to church every sunday and learn about love and peace and joy from the bible. How does hate and bigotry come out of that?

1. How do you mix up hate and bigotry with standing our grounds on morality? It seems like the hate comes from people like you! Christians don't hate. They won't compromise their beliefs. There is a difference.
2. Not everyone is perfect. Jesus died so that sins may be forgiven. Hopefully he wasn't just pulling their legs.

7. the problem with this question is that it's implying that hate groups stem from christianity, but in reality, these "christians" are going against the teachings in which they believe in what about other religious groups who advocate love and peace, but then go out and kill? the point is, these "christians" aren't displaying what christianity is supposed to be all people are sinners, even those who claim to do things in the name of God don't get your perception of christianity skewed by what these hateful people do
8. Some of that is fostered by the media, which is anti-conservative and anti-Christian, so they're going to say that ALL Christians/conservatives are bad. That's roughly the same thing as saying all blacks are bad because one of them killed a white guy somewhere. And hate is on both sides. I mean, look at the hate engendered by people like Bill Ayers (a terrorist friend of Obama's whose group was planning the extermination of 25 million people) and Rev. Wright. Do you hear the media saying that all liberals are horrible and racists?
9. Its called the American Jesus. They have their own idea of what being Christian is and that type of religion is unique to USA and is mostly found in the south in uneducated rural areas. They dont know what they are, because they act like they are so proud to be american, but then try to ban gay marriage, which is violating the first amendment, freedom of religion, since not everybody is Christian and its christian values which are being pushed into the laws when this happens and even our founding father Thomas Jefferson said to "seperate church and state" and our whole motto is supposed to be "equality for all" and gays dont even get married in christian churches, they get married in the courthouse or private settings because its not a religious thing to everybody, they may be getting married just to have the rights that come with marriage such as being able to file jointly on taxes. Its Christian values being pushed into the government in this instance, and they love to judge everybody on their morality, yet they all gourge themselves on Thanksgiving, which is the 2nd deadly sin. Its called Gluttony, look it up. We as americans are more guilty than anyone because we waste our bodies away by eating tons of things that arent good for us, and eat way more than we need, wasting that food, while people in other countries starve to death. So I would like to see all the judgemental christians to give up thanksgiving. 11. I'm not Christian but you have to realize the majority of America is so naturally the majority of just about anything in America will be Christians. You have to take into account that Idaho and Texas also have large populations of backward types, white supremacists etc... Also unfortunately there is a lot of violence and bigotry that can be taken out of the Bible to justify ones actions as ok with God.

Fundie already FEARS muchly cos it's convinced there's an invisible sky critter, with no name, watching their every move, 24/7, AND 'he' threatens to send them to hell if they don't suck up to 'him'. 15. I hear ya man I have often wondered this myself. I love how the try to debate this by claiming that they don't hate. Why are there always church groups standing outside places where gay people and meeting holding signs that say "God Hates F*GS" or other hateful messages? Why are church groups rising against the leader of our nation when the bible says to respect the leaders as they are there because God wants them to be there. Why are there church groups outside abortion clinics getting insanely violent and harassing those going inside. Regardless of one's views on these issues isn't the message of Christ to LOVE ONE ANOTHER??? I would love to see just one of them give you a sincere honest answer.
16. It is call being a hypocrite. I was raised conservative Catholic. That you love everyone. You may hate the sin, but you love the sinner. Some over zealous christians forget about loving everyone and only love people who are just like them. They forget that Jesus taught us that everyone will be forgiven their sins. They forget the TRUE meaning of what being a Christian is. They twist the words of the Bible, so that they can justify their hate. I think they are just stupid people & that they can't help being stupid. So, we love them to & know that they will be forgiven for they hatred.
