What's a good conservative show for a liberal to listen to?

I consider myself a conservative liberal, and don't like the combative styles, nor the crazy/nut job rants that Air America and the Rush Limbaughs and Anne Coulters of the world embrace. I listen to NPR regularly, but for various reasons, I am interested in getting more info from the conservative perspective. Anyone have a good recommendation for a more moderate/middle of the road conservative show?

Public Comments

  1. Mork n' Mindy Alf 3rd Rock... ...or anything on FOX... It's all great fantasy.
  2. Michael Savage..L.O.L. LOU Dobbs or Lars Larson are moderate.
  3. larry king
  4. Listen to the Michael Medved radio show. He's very polite, and he tends to discuss conservative ideas more than politics.
  5. The C4 show on WBAL.COM gives a good overall look at things.
  6. Good luck finding one. Extremism on both sides is good for ratings. You might enjoy Anderson Cooper or the Colbert Report.
  7. Neil Boortz. He is a libertarian. You might enjoy it.
  8. Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck
  9. One that I know of, which talks about both the liberal and conservative perspectives is Dan Carlin, who does a podcast. You can get a free download of his show at http://www.dancarlin.com I also like Michael Smerconish, who does a show out of Philadelphia. His site is http://www.smerconish.com They're more independent than conservative, but they both have some really interesting perspectives and don't seem too polarizing. My local guys who I like are conservative Michael Graham and libertarian Jay Severin. Both are on WTKK, out of Boston. You can find them on http://www.969bostontalks.com and there is a live feed for when their shows are on.
  10. Michael Medved is one of my favorites, because he goes out of his way to take into consideration both sides of any argument. He's very polite and precise with his arguments, and is incredibly intelligent. He's written some great books. http://www.michaelmedved.com/ Want something a little more edgy??? Michael Savage...he hates Republicans as much as he hates Democrats. He gives an interesting perspective on things, as long as you're not easily offended.
